Dealing With The CrazyMakers In Your Life
One of the best books that I have ever read. I was married to
A CrazyMaker for 29 years. Over 25 years ago, I made the
decision that I had had enough. After my last child left home
and was on her own, I left. One of the best days of my life!
My problem, currently that prompted me to read this book,
is that same daughter is now 49 years old and for the last few years has taken over where her dad left off. The tendencies were there all along, but got worse in the last five years.
In the past year, I had to make some boundaries with her. She no longer has a relationship with her family, including her 16 year old daughter. Sad to say, she inherited the same tendencies that her
Dad had. He has since died.
Thank you Dr. David for helping me not to feel guilty about this decision. As a Christian, I did feel guilty. How do you sever a relationship with your own daughter?
I know The Lord was not pleased with the way the relationship as it were. It was tough, but I feel better now.
Thank you again,
Barbara Carter
