“I wasted so much energy trying to protect myself and remain on the mission, which was to never become him, but the same hurt and pain he caused me –due to his father doing it to him—resulted in the exact opposite. I was becoming the image I never wanted to see,” he writes.

The fatherless home epidemic has plagued many homes regardless of the individual’s color, gender, or sexual orientation. As evident as toxic waste can destroy anything in its path, Eaglin-Daniels believes that the pain is a direct correlation to overall personal development –which inadvertently affects all other success in life (professional, relational, etc.)— but the one thing that he experienced was the subconscious residue from not having his father in his life fully. Like a full cup of water tipping over, it spilled over into his relationships with others, effort on the job, and so much more.

Eaglin-Daniels allows his readers into the faith-driven, redemptive revelation he’s received about what a true father is and how to process the pain deep within. After freeing ourselves enough to process the pain, we can then move forward towards prosperity.
