Ridiculous
So disappointing and like a farce where the author tried to see how many fires, murders, attacks, evil people, silly methods of investigation, and trite situations can she check off a storyboard and cram into a book??
Delicate Charlottes can’t eat, can’t sleep…how many times…while Jack stuffs him mouth to the pint where he can’t talk at times. Can’t imagine dining near him!
Everything overblown, laughable way everything just magically works out and that they are supposedly having to stay under the radar, but question everyone they see!!
The only bright points are Truffle and Sweet Marie, and they are mostly missing from this book. Poor things left so long we hear “their legs were crossed” over and over and over…..!
Nancy Drew situations had more believable actions. Sad if this book is the final for the characters.
