Deeds Barn and the Self Starter

E.A. Deeds was instrumental towards the invention of the modern ignition system for cars. He was born and raised on the Deeds farm with coinventor of the car ignition system C.F. Kettering. In the early 20th century, Deeds and Kettering combined inspiration and innovation to add the igniting, lighting, and starting system to gasoline powered cars.
