An accurate portrayal and easy read
I was interested in this book because a girl in my sixth grade class had scoliosis and had to wear the Milwaukee brace. The author describes the brace very well while weaving a compelling story about the girl who has to wear it and her family. I personally enjoy how down to earth this author is, grammatically correct, and I’m off to read her next book!
I liked it!
I like the book Deenie, because it talked about real conditions, it was a good book and I liked it. I would say you can read this book the ages about, 9-and up. I hope you read this book and enjoy as much as I do.
