I’m definitely a fan. If all in the series are as good as the first two, you’re in for a nonstop reading marathon. Forget the housework and treat yourself to these books.
This is the second book I have read in this series, but not the last. Many twists and turns between the covers, so to speak.
DI Porter once again gets cornered by the suspect and physically overwhelmed until, once again, her backup arrives at the last minute to save her and another woman. Exactly the same as book one and in both she suffers injuries and in both books she recovers immediately.
Overall adequate, nothing special, better than some but the editors are doing a lousy job by missing some obvious mistakes in this book and the first one.
