They saved me from a defeated nihilism brought on by the incessant rapacity and omnicide of industrial civilization. Find a place to love. Nurture it. Cherish it. Defend it.
Infinite growth on a finite planet is the ideology of a cancer cell...and it is the ideology of industrial civilization. You can have a living planet that feeds, clothes, and heals your ills...or you can have industrial civilization, but you cannot have both. It's as simple as that.
