When I was injured on my last deployment, I thought moving back to Night Grove Falls was the worst thing to ever happen to me. 

Then I learn about the danger here in town and realize that my pack needs me and my skills now more than ever. 

So, I take over running the Midnight Haven, a rescue group here in town. 

I’m expecting to handle threats and maybe get my hands dirty. 

What I’m not expecting is to find my fated mate.

I’d like to say that I can’t believe that my dad sold me off, but I can. 

He’s been a terrible father for my whole life, and this whole situation is right on brand for him. 

While my hand in marriage might have been sold, that doesn’t mean that I’m going to go along with it. 

I have a plan. 

As soon as this truck gets wherever it’s going, I’m going to jump out and make a run for it. 

That plan goes right off the rails when I bolt… straight into Jameson’s arms.
