Excellent read
I’m somewhat new to PJ Fiala and I am happy to say I’m very pleasantly surprised. The characters are well written, the story flows smoothly, and the writing style is great. Dane and Keirnan have completely different lives and yet they connect on a level that is the stuff most people want in their lives. I will definitely be buying more books from this series and author. Do get it, you’ll enjoy it and become a fan, like me.
Romance with Drama
Needs editing! Unnecessary foul language, and explicit sex. Otherwise good suspense/ drama with what you’re sure will have a happy ending.
Great start to a new series
Defending Keirnan is the first book in the new series Ghost by P.J. Fiala.
I received an ARC copy and this review is my honest opinion. I received the audiobook.
Keirnan wants to hold a fund raiser for the town library that needs a lot of love. Should be relatively easy. Right? Nope. Dane Copeland wants to take care of his daughter and do his job. But he’s ex-military and can’t stay away from someone who needs help.
This book was filled with scary situations, dangerous people, and romance. There has to be romance! But things keep going wrong. Who are the bad guys and what do they want with Keirnan? Even though Dane and his buddies build tight security, it seems like the bad guys are one step ahead of them. Will Dane be able to defend Keirnan? You are going to have to read or listen to this book to find out! If you get the audiobook, the narrator will not disappoint! Rose Dioro and Troy Duran do an excellent job. I enjoyed how the changed the narrator based on the changing point of view in the chapters.
I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did! Can’t wait to learn more about GHOST!
