Touching and heartfelt
Loved everything about the Characters and the amazing plot. Women back then had it hard so it’s wonderful Dora had a happy ending and a new life. The anguish of being barren I can relate to so Dora’s infertility stirred up feelings and memories for me. But I got thru the tough emotions of the story. I was heartened to hear Dora eventually had a baby. Likewise, I eventually had my own baby after years of trying. Therefore, Dora’s story is my favorite outside of the McKenzie sisters love stories. I’ll even dare to say, she tops theirs, the original Lipstick and Lead.
