JJ, a twenty-eight-year-old barista in Solana Beach, has a comfortable and easy life, just the way he likes it, until the day his hidden DEM talents are uncovered.

Now he is a national security risk, hunted by all secret and super-secret agencies in the States. 

His fatherly friend turns out to be an alien and forces him on a journey through another universe for training.

Back on Earth, he has to fight his inner demons and for the woman he loves.
