Demon In The Network

Yesterday, Adam's biggest problem was saving his struggling recruitment business. Then an incredibly annoying angel drags him inside the internet and asks him to help combat a rise in destructive emotional energy. (Whatever that's supposed to mean.)

They also give him a magic power without explaining how to use it. He's not even special - the angel only picked him because he forgot to update his anti-virus software.

Or is he losing his mind?

But the more he digs, the more he's convinced it's not all in his head. An evil presence is deliberately stirring up greed and anger, leading to violent rioting. Strangers with glowing red eyes threaten him, and his best friends and family become targets too.

Terrified and way out of his depth, Adam might be the only one who can stop the evil before it enslaves the city's people and takes over the world.
