My First but not my Last!
I have stayed from books written about wars, fighting and the horror of it all.
I lived threw war in the late 60's and seen more death and killing than most people will ever see in a life time, I pray.
With that I did want to read some cheap, Hollywood action scene and hear some tuff guy statement about what it was like to see a human being die.
Deployed gave real life feelings about what it's like, it brought back accounts that as a Combat Infantryman I had felt but it gave the reason we fought so many years ago and why our Troops are fighting and giving theirs lives for today.
So others can live in peace and with fear, for watch we in America take to lightly and that is Freedom!
Great book, very well done, real human life feelings ! God Bless those have Served and are Serving and their Family's and may God Bless our Country and remind us how Blessed we are!
