Straight to the Point

This is a very short book, however it nails the subject quickly and decisively. Am I willing to fight my depression? Am I willing to fight God’s way, not my way? The book helpled me clear my mind of me and focus on God. The title of this booklet is spot on, the book lays out a clear path up from depression - straight into God’s arms.

He nailed it.

Welch hit the nail on the head, so to speak. I am not on the other side of my depression yet, but Only because I just finished the booklet. It may be a bit soon to write a review, but the probing questions he asks, the dark thought process he describes, and the complaining and anger the these give birth to are too close to home to be ignored. I am excited to battle depression with these new insights.

I also love how practical and short the booklet is. It can easily be read in a hour, and I plan to read it several more times. The step-by-step approaches Welch outlines are no nonsense ways to keep Christ and his kingdom in focus rather than focusing on my bad thoughts of self-pity and neediness.
