    Beautiful and Informative Book

If you are interested in the visual arts and would like to learn the basics of design, this is a wonderful introduction. The book is really well organized and includes a wealth of beautiful images to illustrate the concepts. Many of the images are cleverly animated to enhance the learning experience. The book includes suggestions for further exploration of the subject of each chapter. The principles discussed in the book are applicable to any of the visual arts; in my case, I've learned new ideas to apply to my photography. Highly recommended.
