Designated Hitter

The big game between the Wasconaway Wildcats and Zenith Zephyrs is finally here, and coach Cassie Snow is on edge. She's been training hard with batting phenom Charlie Maple, and working on the teamwork between pitcher Frank Mumford and catcher Gabe Scalzido, but the real itch she feels is for Zane Dillinger, the veteran player who has demanded a break from Cassie's bed in the runup to the game.
