It’s the apocalypse. Aphrodite has broken up with Ares and this time, she means it. While she claims to have meant it during the Trojan War, this time is different. This time is forever. While nursing his broken heart (like any legit God of War) with drink, battle and wenching—he wenches the wrong wench. His best friend, Morrigan. This doesn’t fit at all with his mantra, “All is fair in Love and War.” Because it’s not fair that his ride or die bro isn’t a bro at all, but a curvy, sexy, woman. Now that he’s touched her, tasted her, he doesn’t know if it’s Love or War. She’s a Goddess of War herself and while this is one campaign she plans to win, Happily Ever After might just be the spoils.

So Full of Feels!
I have been a fan of the Housewives since the beginning. This book completely surprised me. I didn't expect it to be as deep as it was, didn't expect it to have so much feeling and emotion. In previous installments Ares hadn't been portrayed as being particularly "deep" so I just expected a good book, I mean seriously, Saranna DeWylde can't write a bad book, but I was completely blown away by Ares in this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the depth of his character, the emotional struggles that he had to overcome, it was just so emotional to watch him grow and become a better man that he ever thought he would be able to. I think this has become my favorite of this series but I can't wait for more!
This is such a good read and I had a hard time not laughing at some of the antics in this book.
Desperate Housewives meets the Gods and Goddesses of Olympus on Ambrosia Lane with sexy Aries and Morrigan getting together for a roll in the sheets after Aphrodite breaks it off with the sexy Aries once and for all.
I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. This is book 3 of the series Ambrosia Lane by the author. I need to read the other books in the series now.
