Stefan isn't expecting to walk into a nest full of vampires, but he’s immediately drawn to the vibrant, defiant, and willful Isabelle who goes out of her way to avoid him.
No matter how hard she tries to fight it, Isabelle can’t deny the pull she feels toward Stefan. Just as she starts to let down her guard, Stefan’s lethal past catches up to him and threatens to destroy the life Isabelle worked so hard to protect.
Will Isabelle and Stefan overcome their differences in time to face the looming danger, or will they lose each other when the past collides with the present?

Read both this and Awakening and both were great, however, being a proof-reading maniac, the word "too" was used in both books incorrectly - just a note to Author and Publisher.
Then and than
Loved the book don't get me wrong but there is a difference between then and than... I counted 7 mistakes where she used than instead of then. Bugged the crap out of me..
The spelling errors were annoying and very distracting. I thought the storyline was great, but I think the author definitely needs to invest in hiring a better editor to review her work. The beginning of the book lacked any sort of character development with all of the siblings. I felt overwhelmed with the sudden onslaught of names and I had a hard time following the story because of it. I would have really appreciated more context to the names and ages of all the kids. It wasn't until the very end of the book that the author even made it clear that there were 2 sets of twins. I also grew very tired of the constant usage of "a sudden feeling of loss" when describing the emotions felt between Isabelle and Stephan when they were apart. There are only so many times that phrase can be repeated before it becomes redundant! Isabelle's character was annoying at times as well; she was supposedly in her mid 20's yet she was acting like a 15 year old brat. Overall I'd say this was a good book, but it needs some work.
