Detoured

This is a true story about a man who became a criminal at a very young age and spent approximately thrirty years of his life caught in the revoling door of incarceration until his last release from Folsom State Prison in 1996. It was after his last release that he admitted himself into a resdential drug treatment center where he learned there was another way of living. He later enrolled in college and earned a Masters of Social Work Degree and is currently working on his Doctorate with projected graduation date of May 2013. He currently teaches criminal justice at an institution of higher learning
