Customer Reviews
I am devastated this series is over!
I love this series so much. I bought it both as E-books and hard copies. By this final book I was so hooked on the story I didn't even want it to end. If you love fairytale retellings and can handle sexual scenes in your books, read this book! It is such a beautiful and amazing story. I fell in love with all of the characters and love the complexity of all of their relationships with one another. I will be rereading this series, as well as, reading more of MJ Haag's work.
Finally the suspense is over!
Some people get their comeuppance, some people fall in love, many are fed, some children get an education.
Love triumphs in the end.

Disappointing 3rd book
The first two stories in this series where exciting and had many interesting scenarios. The third book is a total departure. It consists mainly of trying to decide what food to serve at the feast and how to get that food. The beast turns into an incompetent and single minded man with no personality or character development. The plot consists of repeated situations that quickly grow boring. I struggled to finish the book and wished I hadn’t wasted my money.
