Stockings are hung, lights are lit, and the annual Branson Falls holiday tradition of leaving gifts on a neighbor's doorstep, ringing the doorbell, and running, has begun.

When the gifts turn from the usual baked goods to cash and other high value presents, theories about the mystery gift giver range from miracles to magic elves. Kate's not sure who the secret Santa is, but she has some theories.

That's not the only exciting thing happening for the holidays. There's also a classy art display, a sneaky seven-year-old, and an unfortunate ugly sweater assignment. Kate's on top of it, investigating all the naughty and nice magic for the holiday season!

This is a novelette—a shorter holiday-themed side story about shenanigans in the Kate Saxee Mystery Series world. The last book ended on a bit of a cliffhanger and while readers get some hints in the short about what happens next in this story, the details won't be included until book 5. This is because some readers read the full-length novels, but not the shorts. However, if you read the short, you'll have more information than those who don't!
