Alexander Kostas just wants to go off to college and start fresh like any other seventeen-year-old boy. Only his birth certificate says he’s a female, so he needs a court order to do it. Jessica Fischer wants to help him, and Alexander’s parents are supportive—but the community Alexander lives in is another story.
