The present Book on the subject highlights the deficiencies of nutrients across spectrum of soils and under mostly hilly conditions, how deficiencies have been diagnosed and corrected. For the purpose, general description initially has been given regarding soil related constraints which will lead to deficiency of a nutrient in soil-plant system. This of course follows deliberations on how climate influences changes in nutrient fluxes inside a soil –plant system. It is a common anecdote in India in Hindi that “Sawan Me Sab Hara Hai.” This is true as when dry spells looms large, leaves become yellow in want of nutrients and go droopy and finally drops. We have given in bulleted form most of the causes of the disorders so that it may facilitate easy hold of the subject. We have deliberated the subjects in a very easy and simple manner for better view of what is that causes nutritional disorders and how simply it can be cured. We had a very large collections of the photos but incorporating all would have raised the price of the book. Chapter wise photos which are very direct and which are very impending sight to create and remember has been incorporated.
