What do you do when the clues point to you? It’s 1980, and the Capital of California is experiencing a bizarre crime wave. An insecure deli owner is transformed into an equally insecure private detective when clue after clue points to him, and Sid Bigler scrambles to prove to the police and the press, even his girlfriend, that he's innocent. Only two things are certain: Sid's not the shooter, and someone's trying very hard to make it look like he is.
