Dire Pact

Niko Fields is a gospel singer turned rockstar. It's a long story. The star in rockstar is a work-in-progress until her band Fanged Femme is invited to Dire Pact's tour as the opening act. To Niko, Dire Pact—and specifically their butch frontman Aster Mendez—are legends.

The band's open secret? Aster's a witch.

Problem is, she's been separated from the origin of her magic for ten years. And it's her own fault. She's coping. No big deal…or at least that's what they're trying to tell themself. Touring's hard enough without the bone-deep craving for Mississippi soil and the magnolia tree that pulled them out of death.

As the tour kicks off, Niko realizes Aster's witchcraft claims are more than a marketing gimmick, and the truth about magic gets suddenly and uncomfortably personal. What she hoped to get out of the tour: higher streaming stats and a new fanbase hungry for the release of her band's debut album. What she also gets: a viral witch awakening and scary fire magic.

Better yet, all that firepower is ignited by one tortured earth witch who she most definitely only admires professionally. Mix fire and feelings and prepare for one explosive tour.
