Publisher Description
From the New York Times bestselling author of such “sizzling Stark novels” (RT Book Reviews) as Release Me and Say My Name comes a Stark International Novel featuring provocative bad boy Dallas Sykes—the first in a new trilogy in the S.I.N. series.
It was wrong for us to be together, but it was even harder to be apart.
The memory of Dallas Sykes burns inside of me.
Everyone knows him as a notorious playboy, a man for whom women and money are no object. But to me, he’s still the one man I desperately crave—yet the one I can never have.
Dallas knows me better than anyone else. We bear the same scars, the same darkness in our past. I thought I could move on by staying away, but now that we’re drawn together once more, I can’t fight the force of our attraction or the temptation to make him mine.
We’ve tried to maintain control, not letting ourselves give in to desire. And for so long we’ve told ourselves no—but now it’s finally time to say yes.
Praise for Dirtiest Secret
“[A] high-octane contemporary, the first in [J. Kenner’s] new Stark International Novel (S.I.N.) trilogy . . . Kenner skillfully builds a top-notch thriller.”—Publishers Weekly
“Fans of Kenner’s steamy, decadent and daring plotlines will feel right at home in her new S.I.N. series and revel in the escapades of her tortured characters and their forbidden passion. As always, Kenner delivers a sensual and heady physical relationship, fraught with danger, forbidden love and high-stakes complications.”—RT Book Reviews
“Strong writing propels an exciting tale of longing, danger, and forbidden desire. The ending’s twist will leave readers eager for the next installment.”—Library Journal
“This book had a little bit of everything. Mystery, suspense, emotion and dirty, hot sex.”—Shameless Book Club
“Kenner wrote Dallas in such a way that you are enthralled with his character from the first page he graces. He’s sexy and extremely controlling but not quite what you think he is.”—Black Heart Reviews
“Seduction and tangled emotions led the way in this first book of the Stark International Novels (S.I.N.) series. With a happy-for-now ending that had a twist at the end, I can’t wait to see what happens next in Jane and Dallas’s intriguing story.”—Harlequin Junkie
“It was literally like [eating] the most decadently sinful piece of chocolate, knowing that you really need to lose those last ten pounds. I do believe that I just found my newest guilty pleasure and his name is Dallas Sykes.”—Hooker Heels Book Blog
Dirtiest Secret is intended for mature audiences.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Kenner (Unwrap Me), who also writes mainstream romance as Julie Kenner, takes readers on an erotic thrill ride with this high-octane contemporary, the first in her new Stark International Novel (S.I.N.) trilogy, linked to her California-centered Stark novels. Teen adoptive siblings Jane Sykes Martin and Dallas Sykes don't share a drop of blood, but legally, they are brother and sister forcing them to ignore the simmering passion between them. After they are kidnapped and tortured (by villains whose identities have not yet been revealed to readers), they find mutual comfort in a budding sexual relationship that's cut off when they are rescued. A decade later, Dallas is trying to assuage his pain by becoming a devil-may-care playboy billionaire, while Jane tries to process hers by reinventing herself as a writer. They both want to pretend their sexual encounters never happened, but they can't stay away from each other. The story's frequent transitions between Jane's first-person narration and Dallas's third-person sections can be jarring, but Kenner skillfully builds a top-notch thriller. The tale ends on a tantalizing and frustrating cliffhanger.

Book 1 Dallas, Jane and Liam are friends
These three friends have know each other for years, they gone through a lot. But Dallas and Jane's kidnapping effects them to this day, and this book bring from front beginning to present... On to book 2 for more.
Will not finish
I purchased this series only because of the author. I am extremely disappointed and will not read the other two. Which is unfortunate. Now I will have 3 books in my library that will just sit and take up space. And I really like this author. I'm not questioning the good reviews. That is what they are. Reviews. One person's opinion. This is mine. 1. I had a hard time getting over the brother/sister issue. 2. Then of course both of them calling their parents mom and dad. This was way too creepy for me. I tried to give it a fair shot it. I made it to chapter 23. I was trying to look past what I was dreading. Jane was a bit too pathetic for me. I'm sure there is a rhyme and reason behind it. But I won't find out. 3. The video was the final straw for me. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I am all for exploring and finding out how far you'll go. ******spoiler****** I have a problem with Dallas showing Jane a video of another woman with him....while she is actively chasing after him. And her liking it. Unbelievable. Nope not for me. Enjoy at your own risk.
My Dirty Secret
Wow! J Kenner has done it again with a spin off of the Stark series called Dirtiest Secret (Stark International) This is the first book in a trilogy, and thank goodness! I've mbeen hooked on the Stark series since Damien and Nikki in Release Me. I've voraciously read every book that has come out and begged for more on the altar of Julie Kenner. And this spin-off has it all! Romance, suspense, hot, steamy sex, intrigue. You name it.
Dallas and Jane have a dirty secret of course, they are truly, madly, and deeply hooked on one another, and have been since they were teenagers. They also share a horrible trauma with eachother, they were both kidnapped when Dallas was just 15 years old by 6 masked men. Now Dallas is a CEO and has done his level best to stay away from Jane because it hurts to much to be near her, he wants her too much, and he knows he can't have her.
Jane feels the same way. And she doesn't know the biggest secrect that Dallas has been keeping. But you'll have to read on to find that out. And trust me, you'll want to read this book. Like everything else J Kenner writes, this book is just pure magic
