A Slayers Hockey Novel

Publisher Description
One look and I know… this chick hates me.
I should walk away, find some puck bunny to gleefully sit on my lap and tell me what a big, hot, hockey stud I am--totally true, BTW. But there’s just something about this feisty redhead I can’t let go. She’s got an edge to her that’s sexy as hell and a smart mouth that’s been tying me up since the night I met her.
She tells me to forget it, we’re not happening. But this isn’t the kind of woman a guy ever forgets. Especially when the air starts to sizzle and pop every time we get within ten feet of each other. She’s in my head and under my skin, and all I can think about is the way she looked at me that one time. Like she already knew how it could be between us.
I’m not the kind of guy a girl like her takes home… But maybe I want to be.

Dirty Hookup
Mira is excellent at writing a good book.. so far all of this series has been great.. on to the next one
Cute romance
Love lost and found
Quinn & George
Quinn, a Chicago Slayers hockey player, is often seen as the ladies man, a player. He’ll even admit he used to be a player, but now he wants something more. When he sees the feisty red head in the ER, he feels like he knows her and the chemistry is off the charts. He just can’t remember her. What’s more, she seems to absolutely hate him. Challenge Accepted! It’s Quinn’s goal to find out the story behind the feisty red head and prove to her he’s more than a dirty hookup.
George, Georgie to Quinn, can’t believe her eyes! The one man who broke her heart seven years ago is in the ER. Even worse, he can’t seem to remember who she is. It’s taken George YEARS to get over Quinn, only to realize maybe she’s not truly over him after all this time. She hates that she reacts to him and that he appears to be the man who disappeared seven years ago. But she’s hurt and can’t seem to forget the broken promises.
Mira Lyn Kelly writes an amazing second chance love story, with a twist. It’s love at first sight, until it isn’t. It’s forever, until it isn’t. Promises are broken without Quinn knowing it. I loved that both families were slightly dysfunctional. George's brothers are overprotective thugs, while Quinn’s brother is a liar with a gambling problem. I loved that Quinn went all out to prove to Georgie he was the man for her. Georgie’s lack of hockey knowledge was also refreshing-not a puck bunny! Forgiveness is key in this relationship. I highly recommend this novel! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
