What a great ride,
Moore never fails to please. I read this book when it was first published and almost 20 years later read it again.. this time with 20 more years of life (and death) experience. I laughed and cried all the way through ….so many good tears. Thank you Mr Moore for brightening my life.

First Third
…. is well written and thoroughly imaginative. The rest was gingerbread decoration leading to an ending that was understood in the beginning. Well written throughout with many laugh out loud descriptions. Sort of a Carl Hiaasen of fantasy/magical realism.
