Slow pace but writing
A lot of the book is tied up in the feelings of the main character losing a child. If this is a sensitive subject for you, you might wanna pass
Dirty little secret
I had a hard time with this story. I liked the characters for the most part EXCEPT for Kane. I hate his arrogance, conceit, and controlling attitude. I hate how his love for Zandra came with so many conditions. I also hate the way the author tried to justify his actions by having her roommate tell Zandra that she was just “growing up”. Kane was just as much of a bully as her parents and that to me, destroyed this love story. Poorly done author!
