What an odd pairing with Stella and Max. This book is sexy and suspenseful and intriguing. Stella has had a rough beginning but she seems to be coming out on the other side of it when their two worlds collide. Great beginning. Stella is hopeful and looking forward despite all her challenges.

Stella’s father hired Max Cato to save her life. Sykes was bragging about getting out of prison and killing her. Max cant figure out who stuffed the body into her car. Then he thinks about an ex he thought was dead.
