AT WHAT POINT DOES A LAWYER CRANK UP THE WHEELS OF JUSTICE AGAINST A COLLEAGUE?


Meet David Sherwood, fresh out of law school. It’s the early 1960s, and Tucson, Arizona is in the middle of a major land boom. David’s colleague, Mason Grewe, is another new lawyer who sees the potential in this boom and intends to make a lot of money—fast. But Mason makes the mistake of taking advantage of a mutual friend, who turns to David for legal help, and after some investigation, David uncovers  a cesspool of unethical and perhaps illegal behavior. He is soon confronted by a series of quandaries as he faces the realities of what it means to represent his clients’ best interests. How do you handle proceedings against another lawyer?  What if the client resists such action?


David quickly learns the price that legal ethics imposes on his every action as he attempts to work his way through this maze, maintain his dignity, and protect his clients along the way.
