Discover Jesus in Genesis

There is a tendency for followers of Jesus to see Him only in the pages of the New Testament.  The Hebrew Scriptures, a vital part of the Bible, appears as a foreign book or a jigsaw puzzle of unrelated stories because, to some, there does not appear to be a clear connection to the New Testament.  Yet, as Jesus explained to some disciples on the road to Emmaus, all of the Scriptures speak of Him.


Luke 24:27    And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.

These stories or accounts recorded in the Old Testament are designed to teach God’s people about Jesus.
