Following on the heels of Illusion, indie sensation and New York Times bestselling author J.S. Cooper brings us the second novel in the Swept Away series, a trilogy of dark and sexy romances about a woman marooned on a desert island with a sexy stranger—but is he friend or foe?
When Bianca and Jakob awake on a sandy shore in the middle of nowhere, their first thoughts are of survival. But as they explore their surroundings and try to discover who stranded them on the island, they can’t deny the electricity surging between them. Soon it’s more than just a campfire keeping them warm…
But just as Bianca is starting to trust Jakob, she uncovers a clue to their abduction—and he may know more than he’s letting on. Was Jakob just as surprised as she to find himself alone with her…or could the man she’s fallen for be her captor?
I loved both these books. Although I don't know what to think about the ending? Is he going to be in the next book? (Resolution) I can't wait to figure out what happens next. I hope it's a happily ever after but I don't see that after the ending in book 2! J.S cooper you are the bomb!
Wow! I didn't see that coming!
'Disillusioned'(Swept Away Book 2) by J.S. Cooper is a great read. This book picks up the story where 'Illusion' left off. I loved getting to read more about Bianca and Jakob. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen next. Wow! I didn't see that ending coming! I can not wait to see where the story goes next in book 3 'Resolution'. Highly recommend this series to all fans of romantic suspense.
Getting Swept Away
This series just keeps getting better and better. There are more twists and turns in this story that keep you wrapped up in intrigue. The secrets that surround David, Jakob and Rosie leave Bianca guessing. Jakob, for his part, is questioning whether to find the answers he seeks or give into his desires to protect Bianca.
JS Cooper's writing is thrilling, to say the least. Her storytelling has always captured the reader, but this series is brilliant. This book has it all: sass, humor, mystery, angst and romance. If you're looking for something that will keep you glued to the pages, this is a defiant must read.
