Fantastic book, a must-read if you have any interest in the Vietnam War. It’s right up there with Hell In A Small Place.

This is money well spent.

This book is packed with great metaphors and deeper meanings behind the writing style, but it is so hard to follow along and understand. It is so difficult to read that I could not tell you what happened after rereading each paragraph countless times. This is all intentional but I really do not enjoy it in a book.

Best book on Vietnam, period. Buy this, you will not be disappointed!!!

While I thing I would have liked the subject, I did not care for the way it was written. Too choppy, may just have been the lingo used during that period. I quit reading after two chapters.
