The guide also requires a Windows installation on a PC or laptop (or in a virtual machine on other operating systems) that can be connected to the screen you are calibrating if using patterns from the HCFR, which is recommended. Alternatively, external patterns can be run on a disc or cast to a ChromeCast connected to the display.
