The book talks about the overwhelming amount of pressure on parents to not medicate their children, which can sometimes result in the child’s best interest being forgotten. My advantage is having ADD. myself, taking the medication myself, and being a parent medicating my own child diagnosed with ADD. I can relate to other parents in a way that doctors and psychologist cannot.
