Excellent mystery
This book had a really good plot and was very well written. I liked Gina and the whole cast. I was surprised at the ending. But,,,I needed some romance. It may come in following books because I imagine there will be more for Gina, she is a strong individual, with a good heart.
Enjoyable read
This was a fun read, a nice diversion from a life that is all too not-fun. I look forward to seeing more from this writer. I love the crew the heroine puts together by the end of the book.
An interesting situation
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I thought the book started out a little slow, but the story was interesting overall. The concerns of people dealing with the law were there as well as certain concerns cops and detectives must face when civilians get to involved. She was put in a tough situation but Mendoza made sure to do the proper research.
