For a $10,000 finder's fee, he agrees to search for a Nazi submarine sunk in 1942 off the coast of New Iberia, where he is now deputy sheriff. EXCELLENT!! Could barely put it down to sleep or eat. Well worth the read.

An oldy, re-released, but still an awesome work. Even Burke's old stuff is superior to the new books being written by lesser authors. This one should have been proofed before it was released, but Lord, Burke can write! Descriptions beyond beautiful, poetic imagery & a tangled plot all corm together in one of Burke's best. Hope there's more new stuff on the way.

Font is a poor choice. "Corner" reads "comer"; all rn look like m.
Some misspelling and other grammatical errors.
A re-editing would greatly improve it.
