So Good but a lot of nsfw
Great story - I loved the plot but the intimate parts took up alot more of the book than needed for me
Misunderstandings cause a couple to part, circumstances force them back together
Jack and Maddie were childhood friends until his family dynamics changed and a rift formed between them. After a breakup, Jack consoles Maddie like he used to when they were kids, until sexual tension enters the equation.
Oops, now there’s a baby on the way. And that’s just the back story.
Present day, Maddie is forced to leave her apartment and moves in (by invitation) with Jack, her son Gabe’s father. Forced proximity, chemistry and sexual tension kick in and Jack and Maddie embark on a no-strings sexual fling until she finds a new apartment. But can they really deny their growing feelings???
Misunderstandings from the past get resolved, but not without a lot of angst before Jack and Maddie get their happy ending.

What I’m starry-eyed over:
🤩 “Under One Roof”—close proximity!
🤩 Second-chance at friends-to-lovers and parents-to-lovers
🤩 First person dual POV—my absolute favorite for knowing the MCs inside and out. You will get to know Maddie and Jack so well and watch them be the best version of themselves when they have the support of each other.
🤩 Adorable & realistic interactions they have with their son Gabe bring so much to the story.
🤩 Steam you don’t have to wait for!!! But gets better every time! 😍 🥵 🌶
🤩 Flirting and banter that keeps you smiling.
🤩 Interesting storyline that is emotional at times because of the MCs’ past experiences and trauma. But you will feel that need for them to be together like they were meant to be.
🤩 Cute side characters you get to know a little and I’m guessing show up in the next two books.
