Dodsworth - Unabridged

"Dodsworth" is Sinclair Lewis' best-selling novel skewering the lives of the rich elites of the 1920's. The 1936 film version of the book received seven Oscar nominations.

The story follows the rise, marriage and various travels of the eponymous lead character, Sam Dodsworth. A wealthy man as a result of his success in the auto industry, Dodsworth marries Fran, an older socialite with dreams of living in Europe. As Dodsworth has always dreamed of a long sojourn through Europe himself, he and Fran embark on a wild journey through the great capitols of the world, as Sam and Fran navigate both their travels and their tumultuous marriage.

A sensation when it was first released, "Dodsworth" is considered one of the finest novels of the early 20th century. It is presented here in its original and unabridged format.
