I love how this author writes. She sprinkles humor into the lessons. We've already mastered some of these and it's just fun! I took the puppy in for his shots and impressed the vet with some of the tricks I learned from this little book. If you love dogs like I do, then you won't be disappointed.

After all the great reviews and good price I decided to buy this training book for help. I've been around dogs my whole life and consider myself to be good with dogs and pretty knowledgeable, but I recently adopted a 5 month old German Shepherd and this is my first real experience with the breed. Man is she a handful. She's really smart and doing pretty good, but I wanted something to help me maybe fine tune my methods or give me some good new tips - this book was not it. It's cute, but it's really pretty basic stuff. It doesn't go into much depth and kind of just seems like a story book. Not bad advice for beginners but not what I was looking for.
