Liam a former DEA agent working undercover was injured while saving Rae an investigator journalist. She was writing about the trafficking of women.
He was at the ranch healing from injuries, and she has come back looking for a missing sister in law. She blew his cover, and now he is back having to
protect her. This was more of a suspense with the romance being the second element, which I liked. Good series by the author, slow moving, at the beginning so one gets the details of what is going on.
