Dotty's Eventful Journey

When I was a youngster growing up in the small west Texas town of Crane in the 1930s and 1940s, I never dreamed that one day I would be writing a book of my memoirs and other events that shaped and fashioned my life. Crane was typical of small Texas towns inundated by oilfield people after the discovery of oil in that area. Small towns became oilfield “boom towns” almost overnight.
