Politics
Even though this was written in the past (it could just as easily have been from the Roman Senate) and is about a distant future, some things remain steadfastly familiar.
Terrific!
This book was SO much fun to read! It's one of those books that you can't stop reading but you don't want it to come to an end. Some people don't like the way Heinlein inserts his political and social views into his writing, but I love it. And tell me an author who doesn't do that, even if they're more subtle.
The plot reminds me of the 1993 movie "Dave," but this book was written almost 40 years earlier. Anyway, it's a really great book, definitely worth your time.
