Dr. Cyclops

Fun, and a real trend setter!

This clever short story is the basis for the 1940 film of the same name. A great deal of fun, although the constant referrals to Pedro as a "half-breed" made me wince. The story combines elements of Homer's "Odyssey" (the encounter with the cyclops) with the "10 Little Indians"-like plot structure of modern horror movies.

The e-book itself is well done, although I spotted a couple of places where a letter "L" was replaced with a left "[" or a right "]". Also, some editing with the dialogue might have been helpful to reduce some confusion. Otherwise, a good read.
