Dragonfruit

What if the dragon fruit really turned into a dragon? What would it look like? What would it do? In this colorful, entertaining flight of fancy, dragonfruit became an egg, then a baby dragon, then a fiery creature we all know and finally, a legend remembered perhaps, in the name of this fruit.
