Brings out the imaginary creature in you
Where ever you go, you will see strange and silly creatures. After reading this book, Carla will have you trained to see things from a whole new perspective. You'll see bunny -hybrid kitty cats with fairy wings, and all sorts of insane creatures in every crack, spot, or stain on sidewalks, walls, or tables. Creativity is bountiful- and your next artistic masterpiece might spring from your city sidewalk or from a carelessly placed blob of ink on your paper.
Carla Sonheim is a master of creativity and teaches several reasonably priced 4-6 week workshops online throughout the year to accompany her books. I took the one for this book. Unfortunately i didn't get to participate due to unforeseen family difficulties, but I followed along as best i could and printed out most of the PDF's for the class. The online class also goes into greater detail on the techniques covered in the book- and offers several short videos that Carla uses to satisfy those of us who must see the technique demonstrated to master it. Carla is generous and doesn't forget her loyal readers- i just recieved a blob creatures book ,6 pages of inspiration to create amazing unique creatures- and its been nearly 6 months since the course.
