Not only is Phobetor real, he’s about to destroy life on every world with sentient beings. You could say he’s becoming a bit of a problem.
Unless I’m somehow the hero of an ancient prophecy—and let’s face it, I’m not—everyone I care about is in major trouble.
My name is Bailey Spade, and this is how my story ends.
Well-written and action-packed final book
Just like the entire series, this last book was well-written and action packed, culminating in the epic final battle everything has been building toward. I was very pleased to finally see one parallel universe in particular this go-around, and loved the creativity of that world immensely. I was also happy to have all of the questions about Bailey's past and family answered, with no loose threads left behind. I remain very intrigued by side character Rowan, and would love to see her have her own series in the future, in no small part because I don't want to say goodbye to the highly interesting world of the Cognizants, which seems to have endless possibilities. Definitely recommend this easy-to-read, adventurous series (as well as the Sasha Urban series, if you haven't read that one yet).
