Dream Tree

After elderly and celebrated painter Marguerite Carmen suffers an almost fatal stroke whilst trying to save an ancient fig tree, her mind leads her through the story of her complex life.

As she navigates her memories, she and the tree that has been her steadfast companion reach out to her long-lost and presumed dead daughter, Aurelia, who is herself victim of her mother's losses.

Both a mea-culpa and a desperate race against time to save her daughter, Marguerite paints for her life and that of Aurelia, before it is too late for both of them.
