Set in Delhi and seeded in Dehradun, this is the tale of a courageous and dedicated girl, Laila, who moves from her village to the city for employment. In the initial years, a distressing loss forces her to recalibrate herself on the map of life. From being the sole guardian to her half sister to her role as a house-help, and then as an educator, she does it all. 


With a wide palette of love and care, she sails through life exceptionally. A chance meeting, early on, with a childhood friend adds an interesting dimension to her life as both carry on with their individual journeys of selfless service. He goes on to become her anchor, but will they ever get to enjoy togetherness?
